Our tale begins over 100 years ago. That’s older than your grandparents! It all started with one man, a garage, and some really cool rugs. From that tiny garage, we grew into the West Chester flooring store you know and love today. From a Garage to a Grand Showroom!

It all kicked off in 1921. A man named Dante DiRocco, who was our owner Lee's step-grandfather, had a special talent. He was amazing at cleaning and fixing beautiful, fancy Oriental rugs. He started his work in his home garage, and people loved what he did. Word spread quickly around town about Dante's incredible skills.

• The 1920s: Dante is the talk of the town for his amazing rug repair work right from his garage.
• The 1930s: Business is booming! Dante opens his very first store in Upper Darby, PA. It wasn't a huge showroom like today, but it was a big step up from the garage.
• The 1940s: In 1947, Lee's dad took over, carrying on the family promise to provide the best quality and service. The family business was in good hands!

Our family believed that doing a great job wasn't just about business; it was about making people happy. This idea has been our guiding star for over a century.

The Journey to West Chester

Like a fun road trip, our store moved around a bit before finding its perfect home. After our start in Upper Darby, we wanted to serve more families in the beautiful Chester County area. In the 1970s, we opened a store in Edgemont, getting closer to the wonderful communities we wanted to reach. Then, in 1988, we made our best move yet. We came to West Chester, PA! We set up our flagship store right here, and we’ve been proudly serving this amazing community ever since. It feels like we were always meant to be here, just a short drive from landmarks like the West Chester University campus and the historic Chester County Courthouse.
